Psalms 5:1-3
...O LORD, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.
And Of His Fullness Have All We Received. - C.H. Spurgeon
“And of his fullness have all we received.” John 1:16
These words tell us that there is a fullness in Christ. There is a fullness of essential Deity, for “in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead.” There is a fullness of perfect manhood, for in Him, bodily, that Godhead was revealed. There is a fullness of atoning efficacy in His blood, for “the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanseth us from all sin.” There is a fullness of justifying righteousness in His life, for “there is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.” There is a fullness of divine prevalence in His plea, for “He is able to save to the uttermost them that come unto God by Him; seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” There is a fullness of victory in His death, for through death He destroyed him that had the power of death, that is the devil. There is a fullness of efficacy in His resurrection from the dead, for by it “we are begotten again unto a lively hope.” There is a fullness of triumph in His ascension, for “when He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and received gifts for men.”
There is a fullness of blessings of every sort and shape; a fullness of grace to pardon, of grace to regenerate, of grace to sanctify, of grace to preserve, and of grace to perfect. There is a fullness at all times; a fullness of comfort in affliction; a fullness of guidance in prosperity. A fullness of every divine attribute, of wisdom, of power, of love; a fullness which it were impossible to survey, much less to explore. “It pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell.”
Oh, what a fullness must this be of which all receive! Fullness, indeed, must there be when the stream is always flowing, and yet the well springs up as free, as rich, as full as ever. Come, believer, and get all thy need supplied; ask largely, and thou shalt receive largely, for this “fullness” is inexhaustible, and is treasured up where all the needy may reach it, even in Jesus, Immanuel—God with us.

COVID-19 Crisis Prayer - Pastor Mike
Today's Prayer
Psalm 67
Today’s Subject: Our Churches
God’s Way: The Lord has determined in His infinite wisdom and perfect will that our Sunday services and Resurrection observances and celebrations will be very different this year. Pray for this coming passion week to be full of reverence, gratitude, and rejoicing for the churches who will not congregate in person. Pray for significant occasions of contact through live streaming which bring glory to God and build up His saints in their most holy faith. Pray for those churches and congregations who do not yet have the capability to live stream. Pray for our pastors who will be praying and ministering the word and their preparation for observance of Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. Pray for the fullness of the Holy Spirit in the truth of God’s word as it goes out into our homes during this special season for the believer and follower of Jesus. Pray the magnitude and perfection of death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ would be fully known in our hearts though we observe these things in our homes.
God’s Salvation: Pray that our hearts would begin to rejoice again over the salvation afforded to us through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Chris. Pray that His salvation to us would sustain us in these trying times. Pray the Lord would restore the joy of our salvation, should it be lost or hampered. Pray that every person throughout our world would hear the resurrection message in the midst of this crisis. Pray upon hearing the Word of God and His Gospel that they would believe and trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Pray for a great harvest of souls for the Lord this Resurrection season despite all the challenges the world faces. Pray that our neighborhood would now become our mission fields, and many will believe in Jesus. Pray for opportunities to share the hope that is in us.
God’s Praise: Praise the Lord for His perfect means of salvation to us all. Praise the Lord that Jesus will build His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against her. Praise the Lord that we are His bride as the church, that He has loves us and given Himself up for us; that He might sanctify us, having cleansed us by the washing of the water of the Word of God. Thank the Lord for His desire to present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be hole and blameless. Thank the Lord for His forgiveness of sins and promise of everlasting life to all who trust in Him. Praise the Lord for all who believe in Him will never be put to shame!
“God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, that Your Way may be known on earth, Your Salvation among the nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You” Psalm 67: 1-3
