What is Sanctity of Life Month?
Since President Reagan proclaimed January 14, 1984 Sanctity of Human Life Day, January has become Sanctity of Human Life Month. It is an opportunity for our nation as a whole to set our focus on the value of every human life. Â
In January, as Christians across the nation honor Sanctity of Life month, we also affirm that:
-
Every person, the born and preborn, are created by God and precious in His sight from the moment of conception
-
Every person bears God’s image and is designed by Him with specific plans and purposes in order to bring Him glory and manifest His love to the world
-
As His ambassadors to a fallen world, we stand for life, according to His definition and protect the vulnerable (this includes the preborn)
Its impact continues and is needed even beyond the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
Honoring Sanctity of Human Life Month has had a great impact year after year, as it continues to keep the discussion of the value and sanctity of human life in the national awareness, gives opportunity for believers to re-align their hearts with God’s definition of life as an issue of righteousness in their own hearts, and encourages support of local pregnancy centers.

Modesto Pregnancy Center distributes around 1200 diapers a week!! In honor of Sanctity of Life Month, you are invited to join us as we participate in their annual Diaper Drive.
They are grateful for donations of diapers of all sizes, but are consistently in greatest need of size 4 and size 5 diapers.
What a privilege to equip them by providing this very practical way to love on and support the moms they minister to.
If you would like to donate diapers, you may drop them in the bin behind the Information Counter until Sunday, January 18th. We will deliver them later that week.
You are also invited to attend Human Trafficking 101! on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21st, 6:30-8:00pm upstairs in the High School Room.
